I first started watching Switched at Birth near the end of the season. I wasn't sure I would like it, but I really have fallen in love with it. Marlee Matlin has done some awesome work with the show! Thanks for reminding me of the date. :)
I love this show because it reaches out to the hearing community to try to open their minds up about deafness a little. I know I started watching this because my Grandparents told me about it. Yes you can laugh, but the fact that my 82 year old Grandpa would sit down and watch the show AND get his glasses so he could read the captioning is just such a great example of how this show branches out.
