End of the Semester Thanks

As this semester ends I think about the beginning and how excited i was about taking this class, because I knew I wanted to work with deaf children after college. I am pleased to say it excited me even more now to finish my deaf studies/special education major and start working with these kids. I have learned not only from Cathy but from every student in all the different majors. Particular I would like to thank the interpreting majors for this semester, I know a lot of what we talked about goes against what you have been learning through that program, however in most cases you all were able to share your experiences and tie them together with every one else's majors. I never once felt offended and I'm thankful for that. I also think this semester exceeded over my expectations of how much I would be interested in teaching the Deaf. I have learned the most, that not every student is the same and with that being said I have learn to take the interest in the child and doing what is best for them!
