Looking Back

Looking back, this class has become one of my favorites.  I feel like I have learned a lot and I have learned the material in fun ways.  Some of the activities we have completed in this class will stay with me for a lifetime.  I'll definitely miss this class and classroom dynamic!

  1. The classroom gallery was one of my favorites. It gave us a glimpse at the different perceptions off of one topic. I really felt the "art gallery" vibe :)

  2. I have thoroughly enjoyed the students in this class and the way in which you have all approached the learning within the class. I've learned a lot this semester. I still want to go back and RE DO a few classess. Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to teach this course again next semester :-)

I look forward to students staying in touch in a variety of ways. It's so fun to see where former students are now.

  3. I think that the activity where our group had a "teacher" and we say what we thought was happening by the pictures in a book was my favorite activity. It was a lot of fun hearing the crazy things we all came up with.

  4. I have really enjoyed this class also. If it hadn't been for the group activities, I would have been super restless in what was my first (and last, as I'm graduating) night class! I liked getting to hear everyone's points of view and experiences the most. It made for very interesting discussions!

  5. I have to add to the fact that I thought this was an exceptional class of students. What a mix of majors and yet a group of combined hearts for the deaf/hard of hearing community at hand. That's why we are all here....our goals have been kept in focus and sharpened by the experiences of each student present! Good luck to all!

  6. I have also enjoyed all the diversity in the class and getting to learn from others experiences.
It was interesting to see all the ITPs and what theyve done this semester as well as interest from other majors not deaf ed related. It was a very dynamic class and i enjoyed it :)

  7. This class was a mixture of every type of person and hats what I liked most. I love how Mrs. White could let her emotions show and really convey to the classroom how much she loved the topics she taught about. I also liked the fact that the classroom was open for interpretation and that people could voice how they saw some topics. This was definitely a breath of fresh air for me!
