I'm a big country music fan and I ran across this video on YouTube of Luke Bryan's song "Do I". It plays the song and shows the girl doing it in ASL and then there's a window where she's signing it in Signed Exact English. I think this ties perfectly into Monday nights class.
Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing! This was such a fun example to watch. It was neat to watch the ASL and SEE versions at the same time and see how different they were.
ReplyDeleteI love Luke Bryan! I'm glad you shared that video. It really shows an example of how versatile sign language is!
ReplyDeleteThis was a neat video to watch. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThis was really neat. I love country music and I thought this was really neat. Exact English is way different then ASL. You can really see that in this video. Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteAwesome video. She made the ASL and signed English version look so easy to do.
ReplyDeleteI think it was easier to follow the SEE for the song than ASL. In the past I have seen other songs signed, but it never occurred to me that it was not actually in ASL. All of the "ASL" music videos I have seen have actually been in PSE.
