Case Study Presentation

I really enjoyed listening to everyone last night who presented their case study.
It seemed like everyone really enjoyed working on this project and talking to deaf people about their education, how they grew up, and talking about their goals.

  1. I also found listening to everyone's presentations enjoyable. I didn't realize how diverse everyone's case studies would be. It cool to hear about each person's experience and the different things that they took away from it.

  2. I was really impressed with everyone's presentations. Each was unique and had a strong relation of what they gained from their experience. There were many stories that made me laugh, and others that made me see from the other person's side. I personally really enjoyed one presentation that wanted to find a way to help her client, so she collaborated with a teacher at KSD- great way to problem solve.

  3. I found each person's case presentations so interesting! I was really nervous about mine because it was predominantly oralism-method. As I mentioned in my presentation, I was pro-ASL and Deaf culture all growing up. Acceptance and respect of other communication methods. This class emphasized the importance of the child/student and why it is crucial to allow that child and their family select the educational path that best benefits them. I am so grateful to have had that enlightenment!
