I'm excited for March 4th to meet the panel of people or their family members who have dealt with different types of hearing loss. I have never met anyone with a Cochlear Implant. But i have always been curious to hear their perspective on the topic.
I am currently in an Aural Rehab course, so it is interesting and conflicting to hear both sides from the Aural Rehab class in comparison to Education for the Deaf. Im excited to hear from the panel as well, and hear their experiences.

ReplyDeleteI am really excited for t too! I have bee around young children who have cochlear implants, but have never talked to them to hear about their experiences with their implants and how they feel about them.

ReplyDeleteI am on the same page as you! I think we could learn a lot from this panel coming in and it will be cool to hear their perspectives on the cochlear and on Deaf culture! This will be a fun class I think.
